EE Sport B.C. CHAMPIONSHIPS Dolphins dominate THE DOLPHIN Swim Club grabbed the hon’s share of medals at the B.C. Short Course Swim Championships, held at the Wilham Griffin Pool last weekend. Twenty-six clubs and about 350 top) swimmers from all over the province competed in the meet, held for swimmers from 10 to 14 years old. Two North Shore clubs competed — Chena (the host club) and the West Van- couver Otters, and several members of the Canadian Dolphin Club were also from the North Shore. Hyack Club from New Westminster placed second to the Dolphins while the Vancouver Pacific Club was third. Swim Chena came in seventh overall and placed second to the Dolphins in the girls 11 and 12 years 200 metre medley relay, and 3rd in both the boys and girls ten years 200m free relay. The Otters were third in the 10 year old boys 200m medley relay One of the individual high point winners was from the North Shore — 12 year old Lea Mahood of — the Dolphins. who won the aggregate trophy inthe 11-12 girls category.
