While: Seaboard will handle a variety of products, its main cargo is lumber and plywood. He added that the 55-acre (22.5 hectares) North Vancouver termi- nal, which was established on the focal waterfront in 1972, ranks among the Jargest through-put forest products terminals in the world, “dts the largest forest products terminal in terms of volume in North America. The market is very competitive right now. There’s competition primarily be- tween Vancouver (port corp.) and Fraser Dock,” said Bjorndal. He added that the Seaboard In- ternational Terminal, which is a division of the Seaboard Shipping Co. Ltd., is mainly involved in receiving, storing and delivering forest products supplied by several shippers.
