For the record, my pick as best hole is the fourth at Seymour Golf & Country Club. An elegant 369-yard uphill dogleg right, the hole demands exacting, but not hugely long, shots. Shorter hitters can shorten the hole a little by trying to drive down the right side, which is lined with trees and a ditch. Bigger hitters can still pound it, but unless the bail is well-piaced, the extra yards aren’t worth much because of the dogleg. Anything above the hole puts the golfer in three-putt trouble. So there you have it. A deceptively difficult hole that remains fair and rewards accurate shot- making.
