Sy Jan Noble News Reporter CAPILANO- Howe Sound MP and Reform Party Finance Critic Herb Grubel will not run in the next federal election. Grubel said he has a heart condition that is not life threatening but is aggravated by the travelling lifestyle of a B.C.-based MP. He added that in February he will be 63 and finds the job demands difficult. “I've liad a great learning experience here and an extra four years would notadd a lot to that,” he said. Grubel intends to return to his job as an economics professor at Simon Fraser University and do research and public policy work at the conservative Fraser Institute. Grubel made national headlines in August when he spoke at a Whistler conference organized by che International Society for Individual Liberty.
