As they age they will produce a
rosette of longer and longer stems
with a few flowers at the tips.

How long should I leave my
bulbs before I cut the tops off or
dig them for summer storage?

After bulbs bloom they continue
(o grow for several weeks to build
up enough energy for next years
flowering cycle. Removing the
foliage too soon weakens the bulbs,

When the tips of the leaves start
to turn yellow they can be removed
or the bulbs can be dug and placed
in storage. It takes a long time for
daffodil and crocus Icaves to nature
but they should never be tied in
knots to keep them tidy.
