bank account and pay my rent and

i have recently come to realize

that this young man is not as
trustworthy as ! once thought and
1 would prefer to give my Power of
Attorney to someone else. How do
I do this?
Answer: A Power of Attorney is
easily terminated by giving notice
to the person you empowered to
act for you (in this case your step-
son) and to anyone your stepson
may have contacted on your
behalf.

You should give this notice in
writing on a form called ‘‘revoca-
tion of Power of Attorney,”
available at any notary or lawyer’s
office. Or, if the Power of At-
torney is only for your bank ac-
count, ask your bank about
cancelling it.
