Parents, tots drop in

THE PARENTS and Tots pro-
gram at the North Shore Neigh-
bourhood House has started
again for the new year.

The sessions offer parents a
chance to socialize with other
parents while their children par-
ticipate in games, crafts, snacks
and sing-alongs.

Parents and Tots is held Mon-

| days, Wednesdays and Fridays
from 9:15 to 11:15 a.m.” Also
during this time parents can join

in a fitness class for a $3.75
drop-in fee.

The drop-in fee for the Parents
and Tots program is $3 and an
extra $1.25 for any additional
sibling. All families must pay a
house membership fee of $15
which is good for one year from
the date of registration.

Learn about RRSPs in WV

THE PEOPLE'S Law Scuool will
present a seminar at the West
Vancouver Memorial Library en-
titled RRSPs...A Consumer Guide.

The instructor will discuss such
topics as: who can qualify for an
RRSP, what are the contribution
limits, types of plans available. the

benefits and risks of various plans,
the tax consequences of purchases
and withdrawals, and how to
choose the best plan for you.

The seminar will be held on
Monday, Jan. 22 from 7 to 9 p.m.
in the Seminar Room. The library
is located at 1980 Marine Dr. For

Learn Chinese knot tying
