THREE WEST Vancouver Fire
Department firefighters saved two
Vancouver boaters Wednesday
after a boat capsized near Dun-
darave Pier.

According to fire department
spokesmen, the rescue was made
at about 6:30 p.m.

The Canadian Coast Guard was
called to the scene, but was unable
to assist in the shallow water. The
firefighters waded to the boat and
rescued Sam Teolseorf, 64, and
Bobbie Joe Jackson, 33. The two
were hypothermic and clinging to
the side of a small boat.
