has prompted the long-time West
Vancouver resident to earmark
$200,000 to the West Vancouver
Foundation.

He said he wants the money us-
ed by the municipality for the con-
tinued development of Ambleside
Park. ,

“It operates similar to the Van-
couver Foundation,’ he said.

grew so large there were not
enough projects in Vancouver so
they had to. Spread the .money

do the same one day.”’

Gardner said the West Van-

couver Foundation, which began ©

imately $50,000.

He noted grants from the foun-

projects’ by local community.
