TV screens on account of it
being verboten. But only in

Once you start thinking
about this thing, common
sense rears its ugly head.

Consider: the First World
War saw some of the
greatest slaughters of all
time. In the Battle of the
Somme, the British lost
20,000 dead just the first
day. Between 1914 and 1918,
the whole British Empire, as
it was then, suffered
1,000,000 dead.

Yet we are asked to
believe that six times that
number of Jews disappeared
in the Second World War.
And so impressive has been
the media barrage that it is
the only figure people
remember.

Can you tell me, for in-

stance, how many Canadians

were killed? Of course not.
Well, it was 42,000. And

end of the war there were
thousands and thousands of
Jews in the British Zone of
Germany alone. And more
in the other zones. I talked
to some of them. Most
wanted to go to Palestine or
the U.S. And did.

¥ there was a program to
wipe them all out, how come
so many survived? And how
come there are so many sur-
vivors in Canada, not to
mention the U.S. and the
U.K.?

Then there are the pure
fantasies.

For example, it is stated in
an Ontario school textbook,
with regard to the disposal
of dead Jews at Auschwitz:
‘Bodies were boiled to make
soap."'

I thought the soap story was
dropped years ago.

There was good reason to
drop it — it simply wasn't
true, even though there were
persuasive accounts to the
opposite effect. One story
