Sports Drillers top puck spot THE DRILLERS have clin- ched first place in the North Shore Senior Hockey League with a 5-3 victory over the Old Crows. Ed Holt led the attack with two goals and an assist, with single goals to Larry Brown, Rene Marleau, and Brian Wallace. Jens Stalsberg, Wayne Silver,and John Pain replied for the Old Crows. Old Buzzards and Firefighters skated to an ex- citing 3-3 tie. Rick Golubof! had a goal and two assists for the Firefighters, with _ other markers to Lada Hampeis and Dio Creed. Aimie Lehouillier had a goal and an assist for the Buz- zards, with other goals to Val Donovan and Vic Holloway. Lynnwood defeated War- tiors 7-1 in a rough, penalty-filled contest. Dean Laravee had the hat-trick, and Rich Poliquin and John Payne notched two goals each for the victors. Jamie Dean notched the only War- tior goal fate in the first period. In the individual statistics, Murray Chatwin of irefighters won the scoring title with a league high 24 goals and 34 points. Tied for second were John Payne (20-11) and Dean Laravee (19-12) of Lynnwood and Aimie Lehouillier (19-12) of the Buzzards. Keith Gibson led the goaltenders with a 2.37 goais-against average.
