A panel of the Environ- ment Appeal Board will hold a public session at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Coach House Inn on Lillooet Road. The appeal was launched by Henry Lawson, a resident of Bricklynn Place, in August of last year. He is attempting to have overtumed changes to the District of North Van- couver’s permit for the con- ° tentious Premier Street site. An amendment to the permit granted in August authorizes an increase in the acceptable disposal rate from 230 tons a day to S00 tons a day. Lawson says that he belie- ves that more than 150 objec- tions to the amendment were lodged with the Waste Management Branch in the wake of the increase. North Van City was to have a town directory adver- tising dome. But Monday, a letter from Neil Campbcll of Town Directory Systems said he refuses to install one because of 21 restrictions received from City staff regarding the installation. g “*] wonder if (City) staff is frustrating council on this,’’ said Ald. Ralph Hall, who said no mention of any con- ditions had been made at the Original council vote for the directory. City clerk Ed Raymond said council wasn’t given in- formation on the 21 condi- tions in question because Town Directory Systems refused the contract. cega fabrics semi annual fabric sale 20%-5O% orr cega fabrics +) 144) Marne Dr. MON.
