Itis a wonder: that we do not have more problems with juvenile delinquency with the degrading attacks upon the only thing we have which we can believe in. How does one measure nationalism? Is nationalism a measure of what a people know of the making of their Heartless drivers and pet owners . Dear Editor: Last Wednesday week about if o'clock on the Upper Levels Highway a callous truck driver who could have avoided the tragedy hit a Lab German Shep; the dog, badly hurt, ‘dragged himself down a steep ravine and into a tight crevice. A concerned citizen, Mr. J Clough of 1550 Rena Crescent, stopped his car as did the truck driver but after surveying where the dog had gone (the latter) shrugged it off with the “what can I do” attitude and went on his way. Mr. Clough, quite upset, rushed home and called the West Vancouver SPCA, and was kind enough to meet us, to take us to the poor animal.
