Fraudulent Ganvasser THE Greater Vancouver Association of the Deaf is not canvassing door- to-door for donations. That's the message West Vancouver Police want to get out after a woman claiming she was collecting on behalfot that organization managed to get money from a couple of West Van residents. . According to WVPD Const, Scott Findlay, the driver failed to stop at the intersection and hit the first traffic island. ‘The car became airborne, travelled across Taylor Way's northbound lanes of traffic onto the second trattic island where it hit the traffic control device, and then stid over the highway on-ramp and crashed inte a fence on the east side of Taylor Way. ‘There were (to people in the car, a man and a woman. According to the North Vancouver RCMP, a robber pulled a rifle trom his jacket sleeve and demanded money during, the LP p.m, incident at Doe's Pizza in the 100-block of West Ise Street. The armed robber grabbed some cash from the register and together with a second robber ran away. The armed robber was described as being Caueasian, in his early 20s, 1.78 m (5° 10") with red hair and a thin build. The second robber was described as being native and age 25.
