As something of an expert on
the subject, Mickey advises that
you should never marry someone
you love, always marry someone
you like! He also feels that you
can’t find true happiness in your
life, or in your marriage, if you
don’t have God. He firmly
believes in being on the right side
of the Lord. Since his movie is be-
ing shot in the so-called Bible belt
of Langley, he’s going to feel
right at home.

He has seven sons, five daugh-
ters and four grandchildren, one
of whom is the famed model,
Dominque.

He doesn’t drink, or smoke, or
even drink coffee. As he said,
‘When I die, I’m going to die

healthy!’’ And he’s doing what he
likes to do best, not because he
needs the money, but because this
is what he wants to do.

He’s written seven unpublished
novels and has just completed
writing his life story, which will be

Ever since he arrived in town,
Roones's been a regular at Exhib-
ition Park. And he admitted that
he's not only spending time there,
he's leaving money there!

The star of L.A. Law, Harry
Hamiin, checked into town on
Thursday and the ladies in his
hotel are all agog! He’s here to
star in the new feature movie
Deadly Intentions 2, with Joanne
Kerns. It began filming this
week...

Also in town is the sexy lady
from the movie Mash, Sally
Kellerman. She's here with her
husband, Jonathon Krane, the
co-producer of Look Who's Talk-
ing Too!

She and her twin babies have
been spotred shopping in several
locations on the North Shore and
she was seen having breakfast in
Le Meridien’s Cafe Fleuri Wed-
nesday morning...

That was almost at the very
same time and in the same place
as actors John Travolta and
Parker Stevenson, Kirsty Alley’s
husband, were chomping down
some eggs Benedict, before John
rushed off for filming at the
North Shore Film Studios...

Remy’s Restaurant was the set-
ting for yet another farewell party
for one of the most popular dip-
lomats in town, U.S. Con. Gen.
Sam Fromowitz and his wife,
Joan.

This happy affair was hosted by
North Van's Darry! Weinbren,
who presented the Fromowitz’s
with a statue of a bronzed eagle
— an American eagle, I’m sure!...
