Oakalla escapee still on the run A WARRANT was issued for the arrest of the fugitive scheduled to stand trla! Monday in Vancouver county court on robbery charges stemming from a North Vancouver pharmacy hold-up after he was stil at large to press time Tuesday and failed to appear for trial. George Randall Gravelie, 39, was one of 13 Oakalla prisoners who escaped early New Year's Day from the correctional institu- tion, Ten of the fugitives huve since been recaptured. Gravelle was charged jointly with Wallace Leon Gravelle, 24, both of Grasmere, B.C., with two counts of robbery, ene count of using a firearm during the commission of an indictable offence and pointing a firearm in connection with an April 30, 1987 incident in which two men attempted to rob the Queensdale Pharmacy. Appearing in Vancouver county court Monday, Wallace Gravelle pleaded guilty to one count of robbery and one count of dangerous driving. He will be sentenced Feb. 11.
