Television Looking To The Future | Year by year Capilano College has been moving into the age of technology. Pro- grams have been systematically updated so that graduates will be better prepared to enter new forms of employment and new areas of further study. The computer has become a dominant part of college life, and our graduates are technologically literate in their chosen fields. And this process of updating must con- tinue, so that employers in our community can be sure of well-qualified employees when they hire Capilano graduates. In the past, support from the community has provided bursaries for needy students, scholarships to encourage excellence, specialized equipment for up-to-date skills, library books to enrich learning, and many other forms of aid. Soon we will be asking you to help us build facilities that will enrich both Capilano College and the community. A recreational facility is in the planning stages, and it will serve students and the North Shore community alike. We hope you will help us get it built — and then use it. With you, Capilano has become a fine college, and with you we will stay on the cutting edge North Vancouver, B.C. V7J 3H4
