Full slate of courses

The pre-eminent teaching
site locally, Grouse will once
again offer a full slate of
courses under the tutelage of
long-time school director Or-
nulf Johnsen, who oversees
150 full and part-time in-
Structors. The mainstay of
the school is the well-known
Headway program, but
another that ts rapidly gain-
ing popularity is called ‘‘Top
Notch.’’ Started last year, it
is a secondary-level course
catering to anyone from sub-
intermediate to expert.

New this season is the Keg
Team Challenge Series, a
intensive

racing program for the inter-
mediate to expert skier. It
comprises one night of train-
ing and one night of organiz-
ed racing in a dual slalom

format. The program is
tailored for teams of four
people.
