Also honored was Bran Keast, chairman of the Jaycee House Committee, who received the Don Bell Community Service and Civic Affairs Award for his efforts on behalf of the new Jaycee House in North - Vancouver. Among guests in at- tendance were North Van- Burnaby MP Chuck Cook and Mrs. Cook, North Van City Mayor Jack Loucks and Mrs. Loucks, and North Van District Mayor Don Bell with guest. Former principal honored The cafeteria-gymnasium building in the 200 block East 23rd Street in North Vancouver has been named after M.McDougall, the principal of long standing at the North Vancouver Secondary School. A unanimous decision to accept the name was made by North Vancouver City council Monday night, after the name was suggested by Alderman Gary Payne. The gym building was formerly part of North Vancouver Secondary School before the school closed and the building was purchased by the City for use by the Recreation Com- mission.
