The week will include two Safe Teen Life skills and Violence Prevention programs in which all students will learn to deal with potentially violent situations through role-playing and open dis- cussion. As well, at a Speak Out Against Violence night, five stu- dents will about issues of youth violence. The week will wrap up with a free dance. Councillors Craig Keating and Darrell Mussatto both praised this program for its focus on youth in the community. “I’m par- ticularly pleased to see this campaign involves youth,” said Keating.
