NEWS photo Paul McGrath Bear killed in Lynn Valley A bear was shot and killed by a conservation officer on Saturday in Lynn Valley. According to the North Vancouver RCMP, the bear was killed near the 2700-block of Hoskins Road. Police say the animal was an aggressive problem bear who ate garba; ec for the last several weeks in are. On April 26, another bear was killed by a conserva- tion officer in Upper Capilano. The animal tried to get inte a home through a glass patio door in the 5200-block of Malaspina Place. There was a bag of grain in the house near the door, according to a con- servation officer. Three days later, on April 29, a grazing bear in the Mount Seymour area was shot with a tranquiliz- er dart and relocated. The adult male bear had attracted a steady number of onlookers - who watched him eat dande- lions in a ditch.
