related offences:

Michael Scoretz, 57, of

North Vancouver, was fined

$300 and had his driver’s

licence suspended for three

months after he pleaded

_ guilty to impaired driving.

Peter Jan Stivin, 50, of

West Vancouver, was fined
$600 and had his driver's
licence suspended for 12
months after he pleaded
guilty to driving with a blood
alcohol level greater than .08.

(Provincial law requires
anyone convicted of a drinking
and driving offence to lose
their driver's licence for a min-
imum of 12 months although a
judge, under the Criminal
Code, can suspend the licence
for a minimum of three
months.)

At 41 vears of age the
North Vancouver clectrical
contractor is slowly picking
up the pieces scattered by a
run of bad Ick and under-
scored by poor decision-mak-

Following a misunder-
standing with his ex-wife
and, later, members of the
North Vancouver RCMP, he
was arrested and spent the
weekend behind bars.

riage and working two jobs

toms of a nervous breakdown
