dian Legion. You have told
the Vancouver Sun (o go to
hell as far as the turban
issue is concerned.

That’s as it should be. Because
the Sun’s policy on such matters is
“‘we surrender.’’

You did it in spite of being
abandoned by your Dominion
Command, which ran for cover
the moment the word ‘‘racism’’
was mentioned. You also did it
even though the NDP and its pet
Sikh, Moe Sihota, are poking their
noses into your private business.

You deserve a medal.

This issue goes beyond whether
turbans should be permitted in
legion branches. It is a matter of
cultural integrity. Do we adjust to
‘the habits of India, China, and

- Somalia or do they adjust to ours?
* 'The sellout Sun thinks WE
should do the adjusting. So do its
_ Satellite moons in TV and radio,
especially the CBC. The name of
the game is appeasement. Neville
Chamberlain would be proud of
‘them.

the last election and why the Lib-
erals should have been dumped,

Now, Chretien and Co. plan to
go on stuffing this country with
non-whites. They think 250,000 a
year is “tabout right.”

In the Newton affair it was ob-
vious that the legion was set up.

Normally, a minor suburban
story would never make it into the
paper the day after a holiday. But
this one got the full front-page
treatment.

Yes, Newton, your friendly
daily was lying in wait for you.
Hence the false headline ‘Legion
slams door in Sikhs’ face’’ across
five columns.

It is true that the Sikhs were in-
vited to attend the legion’s
Remembrance Day ceremonies.
But they were also told they would
not be allowed into the legion with
their turt 2ns on.

Is that ‘“‘racism?"? Were they
told they couldn't come in because
they were Sikhs? No. They were
welcome. The headgear wasn’t.

That's the legion rule, regardless
of race, I can’t go into the legion
with a hat on, either.

In short, this was a nothing
story pumped up by the Sun in
line with its anti-white, pro-im-
migrant, pro-pansy, pro anything
views that hit at traditiona! Cana-
dian values,

Pretty soon they'll be in favor
of abolishing Xmas.

The Sun’s wretched stance was
seen in a column on this issue by
its Wimp-in-Chief, lan Haysom,
who gets plaques from the Van-
couver Multicultural! Society on
account of his great work in
assisting with the fragmentation of
Canadian society.

He has a place at its top table
and simpers about taking ‘‘wel-
come advice’’ from the left-wing
