back-to-school event

‘SCHOOL DAZE’ are almost here and Park Royal
Shopping Centre will get: parents and kids into a
back-to-school mood with an action-packed three-day
event, Aug. 24, 25 and 26.

Teenagers dreaming of becoming the next Bruce
Springsteen or Madonna have a chance to test their
talent by recording a favorite song at Power Plant
Recording Studio set up on the North Mall.

Fashion Shows previewing the best in children’s
wear at Park Royal will run during all three days on
the Gallery Level of the South Mall. Times are
Thursday at 6:30 p.m., Friday at 2 p.m. and Saturday

Science World's

at l and3 p.m.

Science World is moving in, too, with displays and
demonstrations.

Parents will feel secure after getting car seats
checked for correct installation at a free inspection at
the Norzh Shore's first child car seat safety check on
Saturday, August 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the
parking lot of the South Mall.

The Clownpuppets are coming tc entertain just for
that day with three shows, 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and
2 p.m.

The Park Royal Teddy Bear Family and many other
mascots will greet everyone with special goodies.

TNT show

comes to Park Royal mail

THE TNT show is a half-hour presentation of some
of the experiments seen in Science World’s live shows.
- Be astonished by dazzling demonstrations, marvel
at the beauty of bubbles, be fascinated by the fun-
damentals of physics, watch money go up in flames
and experience the coolest dry ice show around.
The TNT show also brings with it some hands-on

on a hand baitery, change your shape with the use of
mirrors, or find cut what it’s like to exchange facial
featuzes with a friend.

A daily draw will be held for an Omnimax Beaver
hand puppet.

Science World’s TNT exhibits will be at the Park
Royal Mall on August 24 to 26. The TNT show will be
featured on Saturday, August 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
