Mr. Beattie is survived by
his wife Gladys; sons Herb
and George Jr.; daughters
Peggy Dicker and Mid
Snider; grandchildren
Douglas, Jim, Leslie.
Michael, Tracy, Mark, Tina
and Margot; great-grandson
Dustin; ‘and his sister Chris
as well as several nephews
and nieces in Scotland.

A memorial service was
held Friday in St. Andrew's
United Church, North
Vancouver. .

The family requested
donations in lieu of Mowers,
by those desiring, to the Lost
Chord. Club,
Willingdon Avenue, Bur-
naby, B.C. V5C 5HS5.

The family has also ex-
pressed “sincere and grateful
thanks to Drs. M.L. Hassan
and L.F. Langpre, and to the
nursing staff on Sth floor
west, Lions Gate Hospital,
for all their care and at-
tention. ”
