By GILLIAN TAYLOR Almost 80 hopeful, if slightly apprehensive musi- cians arrived at the recent “reading workshop” for choir and orchestra, amaz- ing and delighting the North Shore Chamber Music Society organizers. The unexpectedly high turnout made the workshop = an outstanding event, a day to be recorded in the annals of our community cultural life. The singers and players were drawn from all over the North Shore.
