‘Taylor and the New Vehicle,
that's what.

Originally from North
Vancouver, Todd Taylor has
put together a driving groove
fueled mixture of jazz, blues
and rock that is sure to start a
buzz in Vancouver. :

After having filled the Yale
nwo nights in a row, the New
Vehicle decided to plow their
way through Calder Music last
weekend. Despite a lacklustre

crowd due to poor promotion,
Taylor and his cronies plaved
well into the night, displaying
a fine example of how blues-_
rock should be played.

The band as a whole is very
tight and Taylor himself is one
of the better young guitar
players to have come out of
the North Shore. The next
time that you see Todd Tayfor
and the New Vehicle in a list-
ing, get out and support some
local guys. You won’t leave
disappointed.
