The first annual Pacific Music Industry Awards show, will be the first broad music w hits Cap award show in B.C. since the "80s Tribute to West Coust Musie. Most nominated are The Odds — their album Nest is up for five awards: Best ck/Pop Album, Song of Producer of the Year, Engineer of the Year, and Live Performer of the Year. Also in the running for Best Rock/Pop Album with major distribution are 54-40, Colin James, Bif Naked, and Spirit of the West. The Pacific Music Industry Association is the music business association for the province.
