Re: Ilana Mercer’s April 2 North Shore News Fair
Comment column.

Apart from the legality of the Bracklow vs. Bracklow case, |

take issue with Ms. Mercer triviaiizing the condition of

fibromvalgia, implying these unfortunate peopic are “flaky”
with “string(s) of disorders” “feigning illness” and con-artists
to obtain benetits.

As an individual with nearly 20 years first-hand knowledge of

this condition I feel Ms. Mercer owes an apology to all surter-
ers of fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, in fact, any med-
ical condition that shows a “normal blood result.”

O’Hanlon having to give up practising medicine because of ifl-
ness, I would like to convey my grateful thanks to Dr.

up wich the misery of rheumatic problems and for his encour-
agement, humour and concern fer our comfort.
