‘Lovable towing business
seeks new impound lot

A TOW truck company owner ‘told
North Vancouver City council dur-
ing its April 18 meeting that every-
one likes his company...

“The police like US... everybody

- seems. to like us,” said one of the
‘owners of North Shore’ Auto
Towing, Glen Compton.
" He appeared before council, as
part of a delegation requesting
rezoning of a city lot to allow its
owner to rent it to his company to
“use as an impound parking lot.
..“You’re stretching it,” Coun.
Bill Bell advised him amidst laugh-

But he brought on more chuck-
les when he explained, “We want to
get closer.to Lonsdale, because
that’s where most of our business
is. It would be advantageous to the
people we're serving.”

ness ‘is bringing in nice cars.” City
