Ambleside all-weather field gets new lights A NUMBER of North Shore soccer-teams have joined forces with the West Vancouver Parks and Recreation Department to shed some light on the all- weather field at Ambleside Park. : A new lighting system, including a timing and switching ‘box, has been installed at the West Vancouver outdoor facility. The $30,000 project was financed by the municipality — contributing $15,000 — and vari- ous users of the field. The biggest contributor was the West Vancouver Youth Soccer Club, who donated $12,000 on behalf’of all teams in their club. The remaining $3,000 was contributed by 10 local teams, with each donating $309.
