Denis Gagnon said, ‘‘but to pre- vent drinking and driving. It’s a new way to approach the problem.” RCMP are holding a fash- ion show to raise funds for the grad night cabs. Gift cer- tificates of $5 will be given to each of the approximately: 1,300 North Vancouver graduating students. ‘ The gift certificates will be valid on grad night only with Sunshine Cabs and Cadillac Cabs, and if three or four students want to get together to combine their $5 vouch- ers, they can do so, Gagnon said, Thomas The second annual fashion show will be held at St. Aquinas School May 12 at 7:30 p.m. Grade 12 student models will be provided from each of the high schools, and RCMP constables and staff will also participate in the show, totalling about 109 models. Police constables include Lawson Boutilier, Peter Kennedy, Eric Vanderluit, Richard Aselton, Denis Gagnon, Dave Muirhead, Steve Martin, Pierre Gascon, Coletre Neville and Alison Irons. | Fifteen stores from North Vancouver, West Vancouver and North Vancouver will contribute their clothing for the show, and eight hair- dressing shops will style hair. Tickets for the show are $5 each, and of the 800 tick- ets being sold, there are only about 100 left. RCMP will be selling food, drinks and programs at the show to raise addi- tional funds on top of the admission. A donation of $500 was given to the cause by North Van Schoo District’s Traffic Safety Committee. Any vouchers that are sot used will be returned to RCMP and given to charity, although Gagnon says he aaticipates the money will be used up.
