in deciding if there is a market for

While the benefits of the census
to the community are significant,
we have in this province, the ;
highest cate of undercounting in i
Canada. We have a highly tran-
sient population, a high rate of
immigration from other countries
and significant migration from
other parts of Canada. We also
have a significant number of hid-
den dwellings, generally basement
suites or single family dwellings
that have become several suites.
We must work harder to identify
these dwellings and convince peo-
ple that the census is in their best
interest.

If we are successful, the people
of B.C, and the North Shore will
get theie lair share of funding for
services that we have all grown to
depend on. However, articles like
Mr. Wright’s make our job all the
more difficult as this type of
