1988-89 | Canada Worid Youth:
(CWY) Program.

The program was initiated 15
years ago with the purpose of giv-
ing young adults, 17 to 20 years
old, the opportunity to experience
other cultures and to: encourage
participation in local and interna-
tional development.

The yearly CWY program is’.

funded by the Canadian Interna-
tional Development Agency and
involves exchanges between
Canada, Africa, Asia, Latin
America and the Caribbean:
