McKenzie and Chung Ming Ip
were second in the 2x800 relay,

LOCAL SOCCER players are in-
vited to a special meeting June 19
to talk about the formation of a
North Shore team to play with the
Pacific Rim Soccer League.

““We were hoping to have it go-
ing this year, but one thing lead to
another,"’ explained team orga-
nizer Tony Hodge. ‘‘I’d like it to
be a community league.”

The meeting will be held at 7:30
p.m. at the Avalon Hotel in North
Vancouver.

“7'd like all interested players,
people interested in the team to at-
tend.”
