COMPUTERS, OFTEN mystify-
ing to adults, catch on fast with
kids.

Computer classes are now
available for your pre-schooler at
West Vancouver Public Library,
1950 Marine Drive.

Workshops consist of four J-
hour and 15 minute sessions to be

held on May 12 to 15 at 10:30 to
11:45 or 12:30 to 1:45 or 2 to-3:15.

The fee is $15 per child for four
sessions. To register contact the
Microcomputer Lab of the Arts,
Sciences and Technology Centre at
687-6200.

In addition to acquiring
keyboard skills and learning basic

computer concepts, young partici-
pants learn through experimenta-
tion with a computer simulated
piano.

They will also learn to command
the powers of Turtle Graphics to
explore shapes and colors and
create pinwheels, spiral and other
wonderful designs.

French books
to go on sale

U.B.C. IS hosting a book fair for
readers of French.

May 10 from 10 to 5 p.m. the fair
will’ be. held at U.B.C.’s Student
Union Building.
