Pacific Command of the Royal Canadian Legion on Fnday. This charter was granted in 1940 — previously the L.A. had functioned for a few years during the ‘30s. The dinner was held in the Maple Leaf Room of the North Vancouver Legion, with Branch President Fred Ulmer and his wife Pat, and Mrs. Dolly Cartwright. President of L.A. to Pacific Command as special guests. Fran Ruegg, L.A. President was dinner chairman, Dunng the evening four members received Honour Certficates from the L.A. in appreciation of their years of service and dedication to Legion work. Honoured were Elsie Pharey, Muriel Cooper, Greta Harley and Linda Tucker. But Marcia believes that music should be fun too, and a way of exploring our fantasies and dreams.
