LEGION LADIES GET CHARTER

The Ladies’ Auxiliary to
North Vancouver Legion
No. 118, celebrated the
anniversary of the granting
of their charter from L.A.
Pacific Command of the
Royal Canadian Legion on
Fnday. This charter was
granted in 1940 — previously
the L.A. had functioned for
a few years during the ‘30s.

The dinner was held in the
Maple Leaf Room of the
North Vancouver Legion,
with Branch President Fred
Ulmer and his wife Pat, and
Mrs. Dolly Cartwright.
