year on the North Shore is
the Loomis Soccer School.

struction by several
professional players.

The school is held
throughout July and part of
August at three North
Vancouver locations. | ,

Lynn Valley Park hosts
week-long classes starting
July 12 and- July 19. The
school moves on to Nor-
semen Park July 26, and
finishes in Eldon Park
August 2.

For $30 young players will
receive 15 hours of in-
struction (Monday-Friday, 3
hours per day), a com-
prehensive written
assessment of ability and
training strip consisting of
crested t-shirt, shorts and
socks.

Heaney, director of in-
struction.

Heaney, a physical
education teacher, played
with the Vancouver
Whitecaps for three years as
well as coached at SFU and
scouted for - the Calgary
Boomers.

The coaching staff in-
cludes former professional
players Jack Attadia, Chris
Bennett, Daryl Wallace,
Tom Westwater and Ken
Whitehead as well as Bob
Hunter, John Sneddon, Bill
Grant, Glen. Hilder, Doug
Marshall, and Joe Morello.
