announced it will be
organizing adult flag football
leagues which will begin next
month.

Three different divisions
are being organized.

There will be an adult
mixed league which will be a
recreational league for men
and women in which a
minimum of three women
must be on the field for each
team atall times.

A mens. recreational
league 1s also being
organized, in gonjunction
with the B.C. Amateur
Pootball Associaton, for
men interested in playing tn
a provincial league It as

recreational level of play

Each -team must have a
minimum of 10 players and a
maximum: of 16, and must
supply their own team shirts
or jerseys. Teams must also
supply two referees and pay
a $100 registration fee.

All games will be played

_ on Sundays, in the mornings

for the mens’ leagues, and
mixed play in the af-
ternoons.

Flag football is played
on an 80 yard field with 10
yard end zones. Seven
players from each team are
on the field at one time with
three of the players on the
line of scrimmage.

Teams can register at
the North Vancouver
Recreation Centre at 23rd
