THE ARTISTS for Kids Trust is
sponsoring an afternoon school
art program for North Shore
youth.

The classes, taught by North
Vancouver District art teachers,
will run eight weeks beginning
the week of Oct. 12.

The program includes Art for
Small tlands, for children aged

7-9, held at Dorothy Lynas

Elementary Mondays.  Print-
making, for kids aged 10-14,
will be held at Cleveland
Elementary Mondays. .

Poorly-made thriller almost works as comedy

ice, who couldn't decide to make

a thriller about a serial rapist,
malpractice or sleeping with the
enemy.

turns a third pointless corner
which isn’t nearly so interesting as
watching Nicole Kidman and Bill
Pullman struggle with the “f-
word.” Even though Anne Ban-
croft easily steals the show, it's ap-
parent that talented winners like
George C. Scott and Bancroft
show up only for a paycheaue.
