New Hope for
Arthritis Sufferers

Mice! Reed, a 26 year old chemi-

cal engineer, was bedridden with

Carson edges Sentinel for
North Shore bragging rights

IT was north against west in the North Shore senior

» boys’ high school basketball final, and when the over-
time buzzer went it was the north on top.

Carson Graham Eagles (of North Van and Sentinel Spartans (of

West Van) battled it out for North Shore bragging rights all sea-

8 son before meeting in the championship final. Both compiled 9-3

m™ scason marks, and in the final it took an overame period to decide

the winner. Carson edged the Spartans 78-75.

At the B.C. championships, the Eagles placed cighth in the 20-team

triple-A tournament, while St. Thomas Aquinas placed second at the
