Principle guest conductor Peter McCoppin will iead harpist Elizabeth Volpe and ‘flutist Camille Churchfield in the upcoming Jan. 16 and 17 performances. The program also includes Canadian composer William Wallace’s Introduction and Passacaglia and Tchaikovsky's Sym- phony No. 5. Churchfield has held the position of principal flute with the VSO since 1976. Volpe joined the orchestra in 1982 after six seasons as principle harp for the National Ballet Ozchestra.
