cables, the Accord EX-R in-
tegrates the system into one
single unit that virtually
eliminates rattles.

The 1990 mode! has a
fuel-injected, 2.2 litre
counterbalanced = 16-valve
engine. It delivers horse-
power and torque yet pro-
duces low engine vibration.

The automatic transmis-
sion features two driver-
selectable modes — normal
and sport. In sport mode,
upshifts are delayed resulting
in quicker acceleration and
improved hill climbing and
passing performance.

Options include a CD
player and rear spoiler.
