Family histories traced

ROOTS, a one-day workshop on
genealogy at the Capilano Public
Library, will help beginners trace
their family history.

Author, lecturer and historian
Adrienne LeDuc will discuss where
genealogical information exists,
how to obtain it and what to do to

organize this information. Many
hand-outs will be provided.

The workshop, which will be
held Saturday, Feb. 7 from 10:30
a.m. to 4:30 p.m., costs $10. Par-
ticipants are asked to pre-register.

as stereos, engraved with their
driver’s ficence number, in an ef-
fort to deter a similar crime hap-
pening to them in the future.

Volunteers with the North Van-
couver RCMP Victim Assistance
program are willing to mark
valuables in the Automark pro-
gram.

front desk any Tuesday from 7 to
8:30 p.m.
