The North Shore Women's
Centre was active in signing
up members for the Lion’s
Gate Hospital annual
meeting in 1980 — a meeting
that saw a-clean sweep of
hospital board positions for
pro-abortion forces over
anti-abortionists. The centre
is continuing its offorts —
along with other groups — in

reclassified as a crime of
