The Adult and Community
Education Services has a
series of courses designed
for the home sewer who
would . ike. to'sew their own
inexpensive -- ‘mukluks, ski-
wear and mittens.

The instructor, Jean Bund-
schuh, has taught classes in
Edmonton for‘the past five -
years for the MacPhee
Workshop and:she also sews
custom parkas and skiwear.

All of the pattern designs
are simple and. flexible and
the garments cost a fraction
of the cost of top-quality
ready-to-wear. A. simple
pull-over ski-jacket that can
be. made in a weekend at a
cost ‘of $35 for materials
would be well over $100

collar that hugs the neck. Matching fur cuffs and mittens add
