of all North Shore boys to
winning a gold medal at
the B.C. Championships
last weekend when he tied
the title match 2-1 with
30 seconds left in the five-
minute competition
before giving up the tying
point and then losing 3-2
in sudden death overtime.

opened with a 67-60 win over
O’Grady, bur fell to
Shawnignan Lake 62-60 and
host Similkameen 50-39.

with 75 or fewer girls in
Grades 11-12.

River.

Cheng took home the
gold in the 50m and the
100m breaststroke, and as a
member of the winning 4 X
50m freestyle relay.
