NORTH Shore Rescue Team
(NSRT) was contacted early on the
evening of Jan. 11 by the Bowen
Island RCMP and fire department
to launch a search for a 49-year-old
woman who went missing while
hiking on Mount Gardner.

The hiker became separated trom her hik-

another trad instead of following the main trail
tothe Mount Gardner access road.

and Rescue members, responded to Bowen
