New leader Weisgerber has declared that he will have another look at some of the Reform party's policies — policies that Gamble as a leader and founder of the party helped entrench. However, Gamble said he does not worry about any new: policy directions under Weisgerber because the party's five “objectives” — fixed election dates, free votes in the legis- lature, initiative, referendum and recall — cannot be touched. “Nothing is set in stone other than the five objectives.” he said. “I can see the party moving in the right direction.” Gamble expects to stay on the party’s board until the annual general meeting in Kamloops in June, although he does not know if he will run in the next election. . He added if he dees run, he will likely do so in the North Vancouver- Seymour riding.
