ROY BARNETT, chairman of the Pacific Cedar Village Housing
Corp., is presented with an occupancy permit by North Van-
couver District Mayor Murray Dykeman during the official
opening of the district’s first yivate senicr’s cooperative
housing project, Cedar Villiage, 2020 Cedar Village Crescent in
North Vancouver. Cedar Village is an alternative form of
private home ownership restricted to seniors 60 yeers and
over, Meanwhile, West Vancouver District Mayor Mark Sager
officially broke ground recently at the site of West Van-
couver’s newest private senior’s housing cooperative, the
Tudor Gardens, whjch is being built on 22nd Street. The pro-
ject is the first of its type to be duilt in West Vancouver in the
last five years and Is scheduled for completion in May 1992.
